Your Google listing has no photos
The Maps card is a picture first. If the photo strip is empty, a customer has to guess what the shop looks like, or they pick a card that already has a storefront.
You may have photos on the website. That does not fill the listing. Search and Maps show the photo set that lives on the Business Profile. An empty set is a public gap.
How to see this on a live listing
- Search your business name and city on Google or Maps.
- Open your card.
- Look at the photos across the top, or open the Photos tab.
- If there are no owner photos of the storefront, the work, or the interior, the listing is empty on pictures.
Customer photos can appear later. They are not a substitute for a storefront shot you control. If you cannot upload, the profile may still be unclaimed.
What to do
Verify the Business Profile first. Google says photos and videos show on Search and Maps after the profile is verified. Then add pictures from Search or Maps.
The official steps are in Manage your Business Profile photos and videos. Google asks for JPG or PNG files, between 10 KB and 5 MB, with a recommended size of 720 by 720 pixels. Add a storefront, a cover photo, and a few photos of the work you sell.
Take the pictures in the light you already have. A clear door and a clear job photo beat a filtered collage. If the card also lacks hours, fix missing business hours in the same sitting.
